"Clary was born special. Simon here had specialness thrust upon him. He adapted. Because the world isn’t divided into the special and the ordinary. Everyone has the potential to be extraordinary. As long as you have a soul and free will, you can be anything, do anything, choose anything. Simon should get to choose.

dear authors

• tbh we all really like happy endings
• happy ending does not equal clichéd book
• NO ONE GETS MAD AT YOU WHEN NONE OF THE GOOD GUYS GET KILLED
• I’m talking to you jkr
• I understand it would’ve been weird if none of the good guys died
• but every time I
• I’m not ok
• pretty sure no one in this fandom is ok
• or anyone in any fandom
• sorry goodbye

"son i am disappoint."
this resurfaced on me and I remembered that I wanted lucius to hate scorpius a little bit because scorpius turns out to be not as big a jerk as he could be.
I may have stolen kate beaton’s fat pony face for bebe scorpi. :)

The first thing Snape asks Harry is “Potter! What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?” According to Victorian Flower Language, asphodel is a type of lily meaning ‘My regrets follow you to the grave’ and wormwood means ‘absence’ and also typically symbolized bitter sorrow. If you combined that, it meant ‘I bitterly regret Lily’s death’.
